How we treat your communications
Comms is often used for sensitive, high-stakes messages, so we try to be careful and clear about how your data is handled.
By default, what you write in Comms is saved only on your own device — never on our servers. Your history stays on your computer, where only you can reach it. Syncing across your devices is opt-in, and you can turn it off any time.
Your communications are not used to train AI models, and we do not sell your personal data.
Encrypted connections (TLS), authenticated sessions, and provider access controls protect your data in transit and storage.
Set saved history to auto-delete after 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or never — whatever your policy needs.
The providers we rely on — including Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, Firebase, Cloudflare, Gumroad, and Netlify — are named in our Privacy Policy, including first-party analytics.
Comms flags risk and suggests changes; you decide what to apply. It is drafting assistance, not a black box that sends on your behalf.
